Monster Trucks featuring Grave Digger Headed to Virginia Motor Speedway
Jamaica, VA – The ‘Monster’s of Mayhem and Destruction’ are headed to Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway this Friday and Saturday June 6 – 7, 2008 for Monster Slam presented by Thurston Spring Service and Truckin Thunder. Leading the way will be the one and only Grave Digger.
Joining in on the destruction will be Batman, Ninja Turtle, Escalade, Mopar Magic, Bad News, Gunslinger and Virginia Beach, VA’s Steve Sims in Stone Crusher.
Each night of Monster Slam will be a complete show of racing and freestyle events. Tickets are $17, with children 6 and under $5, for each night. All seats are general admission. Mastercard and Visa will be accepted
Gates will open at 4pm both nights with the speedway hosting a free Fan ‘Pit Party’ both nights from 5 – 7pm with ticket purchase. Shows both nights will begin at 8pm.
Coolers are welcomed, 16″ or smaller (medium Playmate), please leave the glass at home. You can bring your favorite beverages and food. We do offer a great concession stand with reasonable prices and great food.
Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway, an ASA Member Track affiliate, is a 1/2-mile, dirt oval. The track is located on U.S. Route 17, eight miles north of Saluda, VA and 25 miles south of Tappahannock, VA. The speedway is just a short drive from Richmond, Fredericksburg, Southern Maryland and the Hampton Roads area.
