Jamaica, VA – After a very exciting World Challenge Night where Corey “Flash” Gordon of Charlotte, NC scored the $5000 victory, fans are on edge to see what night 2 of the 12th Annual Fastrak World Championships presented by James River Equipment has to offer. The warriors of the FASTRAK Pro Late Model Series will start all over with a complete show, but this time the stakes are a lot higher as tonight’s winner will walk away with a cool $15,000 and the title of World Champion.
Some of the best Pro Late Model drivers in the country are on hand for the “Super Bowl” of Pro Late Model racing. In the eleven year history of the event there are 11 different winners adding another element to tonight’s event with three previous champions scheduled to compete.
With tonight’s feature going for 60 laps on the super fast ½ mile speed plant in Jamaica, VA drivers might have to use a little strategy to score the victory.
Today’s events will start at 2PM with driver sign and technical inspection. Practice will get under way at 6PM with qualifying scheduled for 8PM. Spectator gates will swing open at 4pm.
Admission for Saturday September 19th will see adults – $25, seniors (60+) – $20, military (active or retired w/I.D.) – $15, students (11-17) – $10 and children 10 and under free with paying adult. Pit passes (regardless of age) are $40 and also get you a seat in the grandstands.
