2013 Divisions Rules Are Now Posted

Jamaica, VA — The 2013 rules packages for the Victory Lap Late Model, Truckin Thunder Sportsman, Budweiser Modified and Collision One Limited Stock divisions are now posted at www.vamotorspeedway.com/forms/. If you have any questions please call the speedway at (804) 758-1867.

Rules for the new Fastrak Pro Late Model division will be posted as soon as Fastrak updates their rules package. Visit www.fastrakracing.com for any questions.

ATTENTION SPORTSMAN DRIVERS – TIRE RULE CLARIFICATION

Jamaica, VA – Officials are clarifying the tire rule for the Truckin Thunder Sportsman division and will permit the use of Hoosier D35, Hoosier D45 and Hoosier D55 compounds if you have them. If you would like to run D35′s or D55′s they must be pre-ordered through Larry Grimestead our tire provider. The D45′s are no longer available for purchase as they have been discontinued. 2012 RULES FOR ALL DIVISIONS HAVE BEEN UPDATED

Jamaica, VA – The 2012 rules packages for all four of our weekly divisions have been updated and posted under the Drivers tab, then under Forms and Rules. It is the competitors responsibility to download both the General Rules and the rules associated with their particular division they will be running during the 2012 season.

Attention Late Model and Sportsman drivers – There will be a change in the tire rule once we get the final information from Hoosier Tire. They are discontinuing several tire compounds and in the process we will have to change our tire offerings for 2012 and beyond. Once we have the compound numbers the rules will be updated and we will post them on the website and on our Facebook page.

ULTIMATE SERIES ANNOUNCES TIRE RULE CHANGE

Gaffney SC- Series Director Timmy Mcabee announced today that after consultation with the Ultimate Board and Rules Committee that a change in the tire rule will be made.

Beginning with the July 16th Hillbilly 50 at Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap VA, the tire rule will be HOOSIER 1300, 1350, 1600 with optional 70. No more spec tire rule.
Mcabee stated that “this is the same tire rule used in the SASE Series last year”
He continued “the Ultimate series from its inception has listened to drivers and the board members input. At this time the ULTIMATE Board Members believe that this will enhance the on track racing for the drivers which translates to an even better product for our fans!”

Partners of the Ultimate Super Late Model Series include, HOOSIER Racing Tires, VP Racing Fuel, Shell Racing Solutions, NOS Energy Drink, City Chevrolet, Vicci Apparel,
Big A’s Custom Graphics, Velocita and Thomas Clarke Performance.

2011 Rules Packages Are Now Posted; 2011 Driver Registrations Currently Being Accepted

Jamaica, VA – Rules packages for all four of the speedway’s divisions are now posted under the “Drivers” tab on navigation bar. The only two divisions that will see any changes will be the Budweiser Modifieds and the Collision One Limited Stock Cars. All competitors should download a copy of their division rules and the 2011 VMS General Rules package.

Driver registrations are currently being accepted with the top twenty in each class having their number saved until February 1st when all numbers will become first come first served. Competitors can obtain a 2011 registration form by going to the “Drivers” tab on the navigation bar or by calling the speedway Monday through Friday 10am through 3pm at (804) 758-1867.
