Speedway to open Weekly Racing season this Saturday April 18th With WRAR/WNNT Night

Jamaica, VA – Virginia Motor Speedway will return to racing this Saturday April 18th to host opening night of the 2015 season. WRAR/WNNT Night will feature all five of the Virginia Army National Guard Dirt Series divisions. The night will feature the Victory Lap Late Model, Aaron’s Pro Late Model, Truckin Thunder Sportsman, Budweiser Modified and Collision One Limited Stock Car divisions. Competitor gates for Saturday April 18th will open at 2pm for inspection and registration with spectator gates opening at 5pm. On track activities will begin at 6pm for hot laps. Divisions scheduled to race on Saturday: Victory Lap Late Models (30 Laps); Aaron’s Pro Late Models (25 Laps); Budweiser Modifieds (25 Laps); Truckin Thunder Sportsman (25 laps) and the Collision One Limited Stock Cars (20 laps). All divisions will run Hot Lap Time Trials and Features. Admission price for Adults $12, seniors (60+) $10; military (active/retired w/ proper I.D.) $8, students 11 – 17 years old $6 and children 10 and under admitted free. Pit passes will be $20. To enhance the fans racing experience the speedway has installed a short wave FM transmitter and all of the evening’s action can be heard at 95.5 FM. So bring your portable radio headset and enjoy hearing all the action. Aaron’s, Inc. Announces Virginia Motor Speedway Exclusive Sponsorship

ATLANTA (March 6, 2015) – Aaron’s, Inc. (NYSE: AAN) announced today a one-year exclusive sponsorship agreement with Virginia Motor Speedway. Over the next year, Aaron’s will have exclusive naming rights to the Aaron’s King of the Commonwealth. Virginia Motor Speedway Releases 2015 Schedule

Jamaica, VA – The tentative 2015 schedule for Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway has been released and includes 12 weeks of Virginia Army National Guard Dirt Series action, three special events and two mud bogs. The track’s always competitive weekly divisions begin their race for the division Championships and the Virginia Army National Guard Dirt Series Championship on Saturday April 18th and end with the final point’s race of the season on Saturday September 5th. This year’s division line-up will once again include the Victory Lap Late Models, Aaron’s Pro Late Models, Truckin Thunder Sportsman, Budweiser Modifieds and the Collision One Limited Stock Cars. Opening up the 2015 season will be the Aaron’s King of the Commonwealth sanctioned by the very popular Ultimate Super Late Model Series. The one day $20,000 event is expected to bring some of the nationals top super late model drivers back to the Commonwealth of Virginia for what will be one of the best races of the year. The Ultimate Super Late Model Series will then return on Saturday May 16th as they sanction the 37th Annual USA 100. For the first time the speedway will host two, $3000 to win Fastrak Pro Late Model “National Bonus Race” events in conjunction with both super late model events, making both events a late model fans dream. After producing one of the best races in the track’s history the Fastrak World Championship will return to the 2015 schedule. The “Super Bowl” of Pro Late Model racing is scheduled for September 18 – 19, 2015. The event will feature two, $3000 to win events on Friday, September 18th and the $15,000 to win finale on Saturday, September 19th that will crown the Fastrak Pro Late Model World Champion. Along with the weekly racing action and the special events the speedway will also host two mud bogs at its state of the art mud bog facility that will be celebrating its eleventh year of racing. VIRGINIA MOTOR SPEEDWAY HEADED TO MOTORSPORTS 2015 SHOW

Jamaica, VA – Virginia Motor Speedway is headed to the 30th Annual Pioneer Pole Buildings Motorsports 2015 Fueled by Sunoco Race Fuels and Distributed by Insinger Performance Race Car and Trade Show set for January 23-25, 2015. The popular show produced by Len Sammons Productions is back at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA. The 30th Annual Pioneer Pole Buildings Motorsports 2015 Fueled by Sunoco Race Fuels and Distributed by Insinger Performance Race Car and Trade Show will cover close to 220,000 square feet of the Expo Center with more than 600 exhibit areas offering just about everything automotive. Close to 200 racecars will be on display and there will be appearances by many of the top names in the sport along with many local and regional stars including Joey Logano, former Philadelphia Eagles running back Brian Westbrook, Dr. Dick Berggren and many others. This year the speedway will have a booth in cooperation with Fastrak Racing and the Ultimate Super Late Model Series. Speedway Crowns 2014 Champions; Williams crowned VA Army National Guard Dirt Series Champion

Jamaica, VA – Bill Sawyers Virginia Motor Speedway wrapped up the 2014 season by recognizing the top ten in each of the track’s divisions with special attention reserved for the 2014 champions. During the night’s events almost $38,000 in cash and prizes were awarded, of that almost $32,000 was in cash. Justin Williams of Shipman, VA was crowned the 2014 Victory Lap Late Model Champion for the second year in a row and received a check for $5,000 for his efforts. Williams also received a $500 certificate from the Joie of Seating, a custom calendar from Al Goulder Photography and his Championship helmet trophy and jacket. Bobby Thompson of Concord, VA was crowned the very first Aaron’s Pro Late Model Champion. Thompson received a check for $1,000, a $500 certificate from the Joie of Seating, a custom calendar from Al Goulder Photography and his Championship helmet trophy and jacket. Brett Adkins of Gloucester, VA was crowned the 2014 Truckin Thunder Sportsman Champion for the second year in a row and received a check for $1,000 for his efforts. Matt Quade of Mechanicsville, MD was crowned the 2014 Budweiser Modified Champion and received a check for $1,000 for his efforts. Brain Bradley of Hopewell, VA won the Collision One Limited Stock Car Championship. It was his career first championship. 2014 AWARDS BANQUET TICKETS ON SALE

Jamaica, VA – Virginia Motor Speedway will celebrate the 2014 season and officially bring it to a close with the 2014 Awards Banquet on Saturday, November 1, 2014. The event will once again be held at the beautiful Double Tree Hotel and Resort in Virginia Beach, VA. Tickets are currently on sale and can be purchased by going to the Speedway’s website at www.vamotorspeedway.com and printing off the order form or by calling Dave Seay or Brian Tidball at the Speedway’s office Monday through Friday between the hours of 10am and 3pm. Tickets can be purchased with a Mastercard, Visa or Discover by calling the speedway. Tickets for this special occasion are only $40 per person and include a buffet dinner and the Awards Ceremony. Special room rates of $65 per night have been established with the newly renovated Double Tree Hotel & Resort and $58 per night at the Quality Inn Oceanfront. All Virginia Motor Speedway drivers, crews and families are encouraged to attend this year’s banquet. There are no limits on the number of tickets a person can order. All ticket purchases must be made by October 27, 2014. Fans of Virginia Motor Speedway are once again invited to attend the Awards Banquet. During the evenings award ceremony over $55,000 in cash and contingencies will be handed out to the Speedway’s five Champions and the remainder of the top 10 in each division. The Victory Lap Late Model Champion will receive $5,000 for winning his championship. The Speedway will also crown the 2014 VA Army National Guard Dirt Series Champion and award him or her with a $2000 check.
