Jamaica, VA – The Pit at Virginia Motor Speedway will host the first of three big Mud Bog and Mud Sling events for 2009 Saturday June 20th featuring state of the art 200-foot Mud Bog and Mud Sling pits. There will be seven classes in action ranging from street to unlimited with cash payouts in all classes.

Jamaica, VA – Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway will take Saturday June 6th off and will return to action Saturday June 13th and will host Revere Gas Night at the Races featuring all five of the track’s weekly divisions in VA Army National Guard Dirt Series action.

Jamaica, VA – It’s been a long time coming for Scott Adams of Midlothian, VA and Eric Keck of Providence Forge, VA but on Saturday May 30th the wait came to an end for both drivers as each picked up career first victories at Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway on Chandler Chevrolet Night.

In the Victory Lap Late Model 35 lap feature Ben Bowie and Scott Adams led the field to green with Adams taking command from the outside leading lap 1 with Bowie working him to the inside as they headed back into turn 1.

Jamaica, VA – If you are trying to call the speedwayand can’t get through the phone system is down at teh moment due to the storm we had last night. We are racing! Gate will open at 3pm for competitors, 4pm for spectators. Drivers meeting is at 5:30pm, hot laps start at 6:15pm and features will roll off at 8pm.

Jamaica, VA – Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway returns to action this Saturday May 30th and will host Chandler Chevrolet “Fan Appreciation” Night with everyone enjoying $5 admission. See the Victory Lap Late Model, Truckin Thunder Sportsman, New Generation Racing Sprint Car and Limited Stock divisions. Come experience the raw, pure excitement that is dirt racing!

Competitor gates for Saturday, May 30th will open at 3pm with spectator gates opening at 4pm. On track activities will begin at 6:15pm with hot laps. Divisions scheduled to race on Saturday May 30th: Victory Lap Late Models (35 Laps); Truckin Thunder Sportsman (25 Laps); New Generation Racing Sprint Cars (25 Laps); and the VMS Limited Stocks (20 Laps). All divisions will run Hot Lap Time Trials and Features.
